Congratulations to our Border Ladies 2016 Championship runner-up Julie Birdsall, she has won the Babe Zaharias British Ladies Amateur title at Gullane on Monday 22nd August,A very large field of 125 players from 43 clubs participated in the competition. Players came from many surrounding counties and also a few reached over the border from England to try to win this marvellous trophy. Our Julie stuck in and finished with a scratch 74. (CSS-75) Julie has now won this competition 5 times over a period of years.
