Judith Anderson has been playing golf for almost 30 years having started playing when she was 10 years old. Her first handicap of 22 followed shortly afterwards. The first of her 17 Hawick Ladies Championships was won when she was only 13. She has played for the County Team every year since she was 14. Her first success at the Border Championships was aged 17, since then she has won it another 8 times and been beaten finalist in 3 others.
Judith played for Scottish Girls in the Home Internationals in 1987,
1988 & 1989 alongside Mhairi Mackay & Janice Moodie who now play on
tour. She has also managed the Scottish
Girls Team in 2005, 2006, 2010 & 2011 travelling to Netherlands &
Denmark with the European teams.
Over the years Judith, whose current handicap is 4, has had 3 holes in one
and holds the course record of 69 at Hawick.
