Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st & Monday 22nd - South Jamboree (Minto)

July

Sunday 19th - Commonwealth Spoons (Melrose)

September

Sunday 6th - Lawrie Quaich (Lauder)

I can confirm that all competition entries are open and please email taramactaggart@hotmail.co.uk to enter.

Lastly, a few points from last year to confirm - 

• Please specify on every entry if you would like a morning or afternoon tee time. If not specified, you will be slotted in wherever space is available
• If you are travelling with others, please also specify who and I will ensure you are drawn near each other (remember I am not a mind reader!!)
• Once the draw has been posted, there will be no adjustments.

2020 Friendly Matches

Hello Ladies,

Our annual friendly matches are scheduled for March on the following dates:

Sunday 1st March - vs Midlothian - Newbattle Golf Club (Arrival from 12.00pm)
Sunday 15th March - vs East Lothian - Kilspindie Golf Club (Tee times from 10.30am)

If you would like to participate in these friendly matches, please email Tara with your interest no later than Monday 24th February for the Midlothian match and Monday 9th March for the East Lothian match.

Border Ladies AGM - 21st October

I can confirm the annual AGM will be held at St Boswell’s Golf a Club on Monday 21st October at 7pm.

I would be delighted if we could have as many attendees as possible.

Lawrie Quaich - Results

Today marked the last competition of the Border Ladies golfing calendar - The Lawrie Quaich Texas Scramble at Melrose Golf Club.

The winners with a score of 56.8 (-13) was the team made up of Kirsty Inkpen, Tara Mactaggart, Kate McIntosh and Stuart Mactaggart. Congratulations on your fantastic scoring!  The money raised will be donated to the Margaret Kerr Unit at the BGH

A huge thank you goes to the ladies of Melrose Golf Club for keeping us fed and watered throughout the day with their delicious tray bakes, tea and coffee. It is very much appreciated.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone for their support over the season. The AGM date will be confirmed soon and posted on the Facebook Page and website. Keep a look out.

SILVER JUBILEE QUAICH - Results

The Silver jubilee Quaich was held today at Kelso with 9 ladies playing. The results were as follows -
1st Leanne Wilson 35pts
2nd Laura Mathewson 34 pts.

A reminder that the Laurie Quaich Texas Scramble will be held at Melrose Golf Club on Sunday 22nd September. The entry fee is £40 for a team of 4 with half the total entry fee going to the winning teams chosen charity.

Silver Jubilee Quaich - Kelso Golf Club - Sunday 8th September

Hi Ladies,

Please find below the draw for the Silver Jubilee Quaich on Sunday. Due to there only being 7 entries and the majority of players requesting a morning tee time, all players will play in the morning.
