Liz Campbell

We have had some very sad news this week, our friend and fellow golfer Elizabeth (Liz) Campbell lost her short battle with cancer on Wednesday 27th July peacefully at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
Liz took up the role as our County President this season, she was a great ambassador for all ladies in golf and a fantastic example of what we could all achieve through hard work, determination and practice.

A member at Torwoodlee, Liz was a great team player, who represented the Borders for many years at Jamborees and County finals

Liz (seated 2nd left)
Liz was also a member of the Scottish Vets, winning their championship in 1998 and representing Scotland in the Senior Home Internationals on many occasions .

Liz, survived by her husband Tommy, will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
