Match vs East Lothian

Our friendly against East Lothian finished as a halved match.  The course was in great condition and all the games were played in great spirit.

Leanne Wilson & Sharon Paterson lost to Joanne Free & Charlotte Munro 3&2
Julie Birdsall & Isla Craigie beat Sarah Stitchburn & Susan Penman 2&1
Alison Smith & Alison Melvin halved with Cynthia Guthrie & Stacey Cameron

Julie rounded off a what was a good day with her very first hole in one after she sunk an 8 iron at the 14th.  Well done Julie.

We had all seasons in one day and sometimes it was even on the same hole at Peebles against a strong Midlothian team.

Tara Mactaggart

Many congratulations to Border Ladies and Minto member Tara Mactaggart who was presented with the Borders Sport & Leisure Young Sports Personality of the Year for 2015 on Friday night at the Border Sports Awards held at Peebles Hydro.
Tara who is in her second year at Stirling University won her first full Scottish cap last September in the Home Internationals at Aberdovey in Wales.
